Children's holiday activities in Morore

Something for the kids

There is something to do for the whole family at the lodge. On a hot day, guests might enjoy a splash around in a real old fashioned river swimming hole, A picnic under the shade of the trees, picking some fruit to snack on, playing in the wide open spaces or petting the friendly farm animals, the sorts of thing memories are made of!
At the Hot Springs across the road there is an outdoor pool, covered barbecue area and sandpit for enjoying the warmer weather.

Things to do

Our holiday accommodation is situated on a grassed flat in a bend of the Tunanui Stream. Enjoy walking through the 30 acre property, forest or perhaps take a night time walk through the woods to see the glow-worms.
A track takes you to a pristine brook where the surrounding bush clad banks are studded with glow-worms, young native trout/kokopu, long finned eels/tuna and fresh water crayfish/koura can all be seen.

The beach is scattered with driftwood and a good spot for some uninterrupted surf casting, sun bathing or exploring, if you are in luck you might see a seal on the beach or deer in the dunes.
20 minutes from Morere is the Mahia Peninsula - a white sand playground for swimming, surfing, fishing, diving, snorkeling, exploring the stunning coastlines or just relaxing on the beach.
